Configuring Outlook Express
Step 1. Open Outlook Express, go to the Tools menu and select Accounts...

Step 2. Select the Add button on the right and then Mail in the menu that appears.

Step 3. This will now take you through the set-up wizard. Enter your name in the Display name: field and then selecting next

Step 4. Next enter your email address in the E-mail address: field and select next

Step 5. Now enter the connection details:
Incoming Server: POP3
Incoming Mail (POP3, IMAP or HTTP) server: pop.powerpanel.co.uk
Outgoing mail (SMTP) server: mail.powerpanel.co.uk
Then select next

Step 6. Now enter your login details:
Account name: This will be your full email address
Password: This will be the password you set when creating your email box in your Ostrich Solutions Control Panel
Then select next and finish to return to your account screen

Step 7. Your email account will now be listed in the mail tab. Now select the properties button

Step 8. Select the Servers tab and ensure the check box is ticked for My server requires authentication at the bottom of the page

Step 9. Select the Advanced tab
If your Internet Service Provider is AOL, BT Internet or Orange, then please change the number in the Outgoing Server (SMTP) box from 25 to 587. If you are with any other provider, this can be left as 25.

Step 10. Your email is now ready to send and receive. Select OK to exit the new account wizard and return to your main page. Test the account by sending an email to yourself.
