"Less is more" - a well known phrase that is true in so many cases and web design is no exception. Whilst I have the utmost admiration for many websites, I sometimes can't help thinking they are over complex and too fussy, making them hard to find what you're looking for.
Our philosophy is clear, keep it simple. All our designs will be easy to read, have logical navigation and be well constructed.
- Easy to read - Tiny size fonts with poor contrast is a nightmare for those with visual impairment. I work hard to produce designs that can be accessed by as many people as possible, whilst maintain an attractive look. My wife who is partially sighted proof reads my designs and is super critical!
- Logical Navigation - If people can’t find what they are looking for, they’ll move onto the next website taking their business elsewhere. Provide your visitors with clear navigation, and they are more likely to explore.
- Well Constructed - All websites are validated to ensure they meet the latest standards. Well constructed websites will have more success on search engine results, better maintain their appearance on less popular web browsers, and be more accessible to those with disabilities.
- Search Engine Rankings - Don’t believe claims by some websites they can guarantee top 10 Google rankings; it’s impossible! There are too many variables to be 100% sure this can be achieved, especially if your market is particularly competitive. All my websites will be constructed to encourage good results, I can help and advise on how to give you the best possible chance of search engine success.

- £200.00 for a 3 page website
- £ 30.00 for each additional page
- £FOC for minor updates for the first 6 months*
- £ 30.00 per hour for major updates
- £ 30.00 for 1 hour training session on how to maintain your site**
Other Costs
You will also need to purchase your domain and web hosting package. The choice of suppliers is huge, however I can guide you on who would be the best suited for your specific requirements. Prices vary, below is a guideline.
- Domain Purchase: from £8.81 for a .co.uk to £29.38 for a .com (2 year registration).
- Web Hosting: from £58.75 per annum
* A fair use policy applies. For those requiring more frequent updates we can offer a flat monthly fee; the cost of which would vary depending on the amount of work required.
** Your PC/Laptop would need to have a reasonable photo editing package such as Adobe Photoshop. We can assess the specification of your machine and advise on options. We can even install the software for you.
